In June, the lighting project was totally completed when three members went up to Gwinn, Michigan and put up the last two lights for their sanctuary. It was a full days work and they were able to complete it. As of right now we have nothing left to do at Victory Lutheran Church. Our quilters will continue to sew quilts for the Christmas distribution to the homeless and needy of Victory. We have been a part of that project for the last several years and took a load of quilts up in June with their new lights. Another shipment will go in November/December. Part two of our summer work was to be at Watertown, Wi. for the Bethesda Lutheran Home Camp. Circumstances on their end caused this to be canceled. We continue to look for ways to serve outside of our church walls where we can show the love of Jesus.
